
Here's a guy making cultured, smoked butter. Please note that the process is exactly the same for non-cultured butter with the exception that you do not add cultured buttermilk and ferment on the counter. And, of course, smoking or not is up to you.

Edit to add that if ya want to use a fancy butter mold, do not refrigerate before placing in the mold.
