I've done plenty of wings with this set up. I know one time it was packed and I can't remember how many I did. I think it was 3 dozen. How many have others with this set up been able to cram in there? I got 46 good sized wings to do tomorrow night.
I do have a 26" kettle, but have never done wings on it. I assume it would take a bit more time on it due to more volume to heat. Would the larger volume get just as hot as the 22?

Here’s my 26 loaded up with well over 3 doz drummies and flats on a couple different occasions.
It handled it like a champ. I do flip them every 15-20 mins.
I think I had ~43 on my 22 with a Vortex tonight. Could have easily fit a half dozen more. So 46 could fit but it starts getting a bit tight.
I did wings on my 26 before I had a vortex with charcoal baskets and it didn't get as hot and took longer to cook. So the added volume does disperse the heat a bit more. It can be done but I would rather load up the 22 than space things out more on the 26.
