I found this recipe from Mosca some time ago so I saved it Evernote.
Mosca’s Chicken Thigh Recipe - Mix 2 parts bottled BBQ sauce with 1 part bottled Italian salad dressing. Marinate the boneless skinless thighs for anywhere from 5 minutes to 4 hours. Grill over medium heat until chicken is cooked through.
The marinade doesn't burn, it loses it's moisture about the same time the chicken is done.
I finally got try it a few weeks ago and really liked the results, but wondered how they might taste smoked. So, today after the Boston Butt was finished I put them on the Egg. And, I liked the results equally well. The Butt was one of those pains that took excessively long, so I ran out of fuel and had to finish them the last fifteen minutes in the oven. The entire thigh cook took about 2 1/2 hours. All in all it was a good cook.
