    I suggest going to Corkscrew in Old Town Spring. Just Goggle in the directions, it's one of the best bbq places not only in Houston but in Texas as well. It's relatively close to Intercontinental Airport. nsbbqguy

    Yea thanks, I'll have to add this to my recipe collection. Brisket is perfect for chili, just never gave it a try. Will have to leave out the beans however, I'm a Texan Thanks again nsbbqguy

    I’m still kind of playing around with the recipe, you can add more Chile to adjust the heat to your prefrance. When I made it this time I didn’t make it too spicy because the kids wouldn’t eat it

    Brisket chili
    2x 23oz cans tomato sauce
    1x can diced tomatoes 
    2x 14 oz cans kidney beans
    1x onion
    8 mushrooms cut up
    1x red pepper
    4x cloves garlic crushed
    1x tbsp onion powder
    1x tbsp garlic powder
    1x tbsp chill powder
    1x tsp cumin
    1x tsp chipotle powder
    1x tbsp ancho chili powder
    3x tsp brown sugar
    Cut up left over brisket (as much as you like!)

    Everyone loves my venison chili but that brisket chili looks great. I will have to try it.
