Buttermilk brine

    Buttermilk brine

    Need help ASAP, I’m brining some wings in buttermilk & Franks hot sauce as an app for this evening. Never used buttermilk before, so I’m unsure if I should cook them any differently after taking them out of the brine, or use the same procedure as with a salt water brine. I’ll be cooking them in my PBC hot & fast.

    I typically buttermilk is used for breading and frying. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone cook them any other way with buttermilk.

    Im sure it can be done. What do I know? People bake/grill with yogurt marinade all the time. I look forward to your results.

      Buttermilk works great with yardbird...

      Since yer cookin Hot N Fast, watch em closely, so th butter fat don't char up excessive, on ya...

        So should I rinse them well and pat dry with paper towel, or take them out of the brine & throw them on the cooker?
