Chicken or poultry sausage suggestions please

We have someone coming over for the weekend whose physician has him on a limited diet. He can have poultry. I can do chicken of course, but we want to give him some variety. I don’t have a clue about poultry based sausage. Is there any national brands you can recommend suitable for grilling that might be available in Maryland or Delaware? (And taste good)

One of my go to sausages (beside pork and beef of course) is chicken/feta cheese. Most brands I buy down here in Texas are locally sourced so I don't usually eat any national brands. Having said that, I did a quick Goggle search and various brands of chicken/feta or other chicken blend sausages are available in many of the national grocery stores. See if you can find them in your area, it's really a good sausage alternative.

I like the idea of the feta for extra flavor. Thanks formthe recommendation.

If you live near a Whole Foods, the chicken sausages they make in-house are pretty good. They are located in the butcher’s display case at my local store. They are pretty lean, so I have never grilled them though.

Boars Head makes some pretty decent chicken sausage - in several different flavors.

Thank you. Boars Head I know I can find around here. I know we like their other products.

Make your own would be my suggestion.

Thanks but I have a freezer full of homemade pork and beef sausage. Not going to put that much work into something for one meal that I will never eat.

Aidels chicken and apple is good. I am curious as to why you picked "sausage" for someone who has dietary restrictions?

why not just make the poultry with a delicious marinade? Lots of fresh herbs, and I mean a lot without the stem, garlic onion/shallot, buzzed up with an acid and then oil to create a vinaigrette as a marinade.

Then grill those suckers. I did the very same today for 35. It was delicious

I second this -- a good chicken with Simon and Garfunkel rub seems like the way to go!

Because I’m going to be feeding this guy for 8 meals and I’m trying give him some variety. I already have other styles of chicken planned for several meals as is it.

#7 - Aidels? That might be in Trader Joe's. If you're not taking on making your own, I would also check TJ's out. I get the pork every now and then to make Coddle, and I've seen a wide selection of poultry-based sausage.
