    As if I didn't cook enough poultry last night

    So yes, I cooked those large turkey breasts last night, but I already had a home grown chicken in the refrigerator thawing, so it had to be done tonight. Mrs. CN wanted it done sous vide with just salt, pepper, and our garlic powder, so early this afternoon I cut it up and vac sealed it. I cooked only the breast as I plan on frying the legs and thighs. They went in the hot tub around 14:00 while Mrs. CN started a bread recipe in the crock pot. After a couple hour swim they came out, patted dry, and stood by whilst I prepared the PK. After a little grilling it all came together, and Mrs. CN was very pleased with the outcome.

        I used the leftover chicken to make some burritos tonight. A tortilla on a flat iron, some cheese, shredded chicken, salsa and pepper heated up and rolled.

                Love the way sous vide does poultry breasts, only way to keep them from turning into dried shoe leather bbq wise. Nice work, also like the Vac Master (he says totally enviously).

                  ComfortablyNumb, guilty as charged. We love our VM. It totally upped our SV-Q game as well as preserving leftovers. We highly recommend it to anyone who can scrape up enough pennies for one.
