    Added a joetisserie to the toy box

    Sunday will attempt a 4lb turkey breast. Would like input on kamado temp, time and wood. Any other suggestions are welcome.

    Well i can try to be a little help i dont have the joetisserie and never did just the breast. I have done the ultimate turkey following meatheads recipe and the temp should be 325
    Only other thing i can add is it came out great. I cooked it on my classic joe

      Love my new Joetisserie! I haven't tried a turkey breast yet but my first chicken turned out great. I kept the temp at around 325. I'm going to cook a tri-tip next.

        Just a thought, from my experience with Turkey breast on the Hasty Bake. Deboned it, and took the two halves and turned them "69" (for lack of a better explanation). Then tied them into loaves.

        It solves the problem of a thick end taking longer to cook, and a thin end taking much less time.

        If there isn't enough skin to completely cover the breast, all the way around, I do a bacon wrap.

        Just throwing out an idea...

        Sorry, I don't have a Kamodo, so no help there.
