    Whole chickens on OneGrille rotissiere for 26" Weber kettle

    Loving the 26" kettle. First cook with the rotisserie, very happy with the product. Got a couple of fresh (less than 24 hours) chickens. Dry brine overnight, then rubbed inside with dried penzeys sage, rosemary, oregano and thyme a couple hours before cook. Melted butter and added more above herbs and brushed before putting on rotissiere. Applewood chips for a little smoke and cooked at 350 until thighs at 180. So So good. Skin perfect and crispy but meat so moist and full of flavor. Finshed with strawberry shortcake--Rhode Island strawberries picked today chopped and mixed with brown piconcillo sugar, fresh mint, and lemon juice and set for an hour and then spooned over fresh made warm biscuit and whipped cream. YEAH!!!

      Looks fantastic! I seriously believe chicken and hamburgers are so underrated. If they're cooked properly they can be amazingly good eatin'.

          I think that the rotisserie produces some of the best chicken - if done right. And it looks like you did it right Mitrakas .
