    First cook on my new CI pan

    used my new cast iron pan to make breakfast today.
    Fried up some xtra thick cut bacon (cherrywood smoked) sorry I did not make the bacon myself.
    Diced potatoes w/ some onions and peppers,salt pepper and some granulated garlic. 4 eggs,cause I'm a pig.
    I'm not a big potato fan but they came out great. The only trouble I had was flipping the eggs. Overall a very good breakfast. Looking forward to more CI cooking.

    Sounds good I just got a new carbon steel wok for my birthday is was planning on seasoning today but stupid me forgot to bring it home with me love using the ci on the grill

      That's the main reason I got a couple CI pans, to use on the grills. But I gotta start somewhere.

      GregS, it is. I love my CI, and I also have some very nice Birmingham Stove & Range (BSR) pieces. Spinaker is the man, tho - for sure!
