    Sourdough croutons

    My sourdough didn’t rise to the occasion yesterday. So, I cut them into 1.5” hunks and let them dry overnight. Around lunchtime, I put some melted butter, garlic olive oil, salt, and Italian seasoning. I put them in the Dutch oven and just browned them. Dutch oven uncovered and about 350-400 degrees. Stirred often. Batched the whole thing in 2 batches.

    mmmmm, they tasty.

    Great idea, I'm going to try this with the next batch that doesn't measure up.
