I bought this book on Kindle, read it through and made the first recipe for whole wheat sandwich bread as recommended. The book is a decent read and explains the technique well. I would like more on FAQ to help troubleshoot. My bread came out tasting great, but was still a bit too crumbly as if it needed more kneading. I will try the Transitional recipe next.
I think my cold kitchen in January doesn't help either with the rise.
Please stop. I already got MCS, MKS (knives), MAS (albums), and several more collector disorders. Including cookbooks. I have been resisting this bread making trend, avoiding looking at the pics (all of you bread makers are killing me, but Richard Chrz is especially troubling). I don't have TIME to make bread. I don't. I don't. I don't. Somebody help...
Richard Chrz, rickgregory OK, I held out for a day. Got the Kindle version just in case I get some time and decide to make bread. Maybe when I sit up with my olives, cheese, bread and wine I'll put on a beret

I don't see photos of your bread. But look, it's the weekend...
