    Loafing around on a Saturday

    Picked up Flour,Salt,Water,Yeast from the library, finally had a day free I could make a loaf of Saturday white bread. Been a few years since I made my own bread, I forgot how much I enjoy it. Now I just have to wait for it to cool.

        Very nice! I baked a couple of the over night country blonde yesterday. I just love the double entendre of "over night country blonde"

              I usually lay-off the baking in the summer, hate heating up the house with a hot oven

              I’m quite fond of Forkish’s White Bread with Poolish. It’s another non-starter formula that consistently turns out crazy delicious. You might want to give it a try ...
