    Hot Dog Bun Pan

Any of you Bread Bakers out there have a Hot Dog Bun Pan? Is it worth having? Where did you get yours? Thanks in advance for any responses.

I have the one from King Arthur and I'm not a fan--it's a bun too small. I've never had a hot dog, or a lobster roll, in New England, but if this pan makes a typical-sized NE bun...sad. It's not just the length of the bun from this pan; it's also the all around girth. Hard to stuff more than a couple of tablespoons of lobster into it. I'm following this thread with interest to see if someone has a better pan.

The unique corrugated surface provides air circulation all around, for better browning, more even baking, and perfect release. Buy at King Arthur Baking.

What Willy said. I don't have one (the wife generally makes the dough and wraps the dogs pigs-in-a-blanket style) ... but I might be convinced that I just can't live without one depending on how convincing other's replies sound.

You're right we'd need to add onto our oven.

gdsim1 You're cracking me up. If I put much more on that deck, it may just China Syndrome itself through the center of the planet.

Here's one from King Arthur, but it's for New England style buns:
