I would like a recipe that allowed the bread to be split open and not tear all the way through. Subway loaves, I notice are split, folded wide open to being completely flat on the prep board and they do not tear. This is, imo, a great feature for subs/hot dogs/ lobster rolls/whatever and would be especially useful to me as I have a tremor that soon results in two separate pieces of bread falling apart along with the sandwich contents, at which time I must grab a fork to finish. How gauche! LOL
