    making anything for Fat Tuesday?

    INstead of a King Cake I went all Frenchified and baked a Galette de Rois... puff pastry exterior and a homemade frangipane inside. Instead of a plastic baby, "la leve" is just a bean but the same good luck...painters, fence, gutter and internet people all here today so I worked from home. Click image for larger version

    steak since I am giving up red meat for lent. Served with radish salad, sweet peas, and roasted Herb potatoes/onion/mushrooms.
