100% Rouge de Bordeaux whole wheat loaves, no worse for wear after getting the truck stuck five times and getting off schedule.

Donw not tonight the temperature is not going to get above 0 today and it’s windy. I took the day off tomorrow for a full day on the ice. Good idea on the sandwiches

This scoring got me asymmetrical, opposing ears. Looks like a sine wave on my loaf.

I picked up some white whole wheat flour after scottranda told me about it and used 300g of it with 130g of bread flour to make the no knead loaf. I like it and next time I'll try to shape it into a batard.

I followed this recipe to make these cheese crackers. Pretty tasty, but the shredded sharp cheddar I used could have used a little boost in cheese flavor. I've never seen the cheese usedin the video.Click image for larger version Name:	20230207_121229[1].jpg Views:	4 Size:	3.15 MB ID:	1373695

I forgot about this thread and just posted in SUWYC. Baked some sourdough bread using Richard Chrz 's culture and method. Turned out great, the office staff ate most of one loaf, other will be used this week.

Great looking cake, however the recipe appears to be for an upside down cake.🙂

Did the caraway rye today. Also, I want to show the use of the bread board I received as my SS gift from RonB. If forgot to show the dough on it but you'll get the idea. I use it regularly. I can't bring myself to turn it upside down to use as a cutting board. Thanks Santa!

Y'know it's one of those things, I always forget something, didn't score the dough before it put this in the oven.
In my defense my wife and son decided to cook chicken burgers while i was baking this....
....they're a bunch freakin barbarians when they're hungry, no reasoning with them so I go climb a tree for safety....
....and things don't get done right

Some Sourdough Rye with Caraway Seeds...I should have kept it in the oven a few minutes longer but it was still killer good.
