    Traditional Dutch Oven Pot Roast

Made this on Sunday. Used parsnips, carrots, onion, mushrooms and celery for veggies. Added the parsnips, carrots and mushrooms the last hour as I don't like them turning to mush. I'll post the recipe link for reference. Seasoned the roast with 16 mesh pepper and kosher salt before searing. If you have the time, this recipe knocks it outta the park.

Love parsnips in dishes like this, really a forgotten root vegetable around these parts anyway.
I like to roast them in the oven until they start to caramelize too then slicing and add when serving.
    Lots of added flavor.

There’s nothing better with a nice slow cooked beef roast than parsnips!!

I will also do rutabagas in dishes like this. They're all good, IMO.

Another great comfort food recipe. And a guy named Fritz should know something about using a Dutch oven!

PBR for liquid? Or paired afterward.
I got my first ever Dutch Oven last year for camping.
Just a new toy to learn.
So it is good to see fine cooks on the Dutch Oven.

Making traditional pot roast next week. Your pics look great. Hopefully I can come close to matching what I'm seeing on my screen.

Mighty fine looking roast. Has me thinking I should get a chuckie out of the freezer.
