Kroger had choice ribeyes for sale at 7.49, so I asked them to cut a couple 2†for me—- they went heavy at 2-1/4, but not complaining... over 4 lbs for two steaks, not very marbled, but gonna try for the price! Cut one in half (about 1 lb each half) for more sear, smothered in cow crust with mustard added... gonna reverse sear, grilling some onions to go with them...
