I have to say I loved the presentation and taste here but the value was as others noted not great. Better deal for me is boneless ribeye. Very happy I did it though!

I've done three. Yes, it is a gimmick and you are paying for the bone but it is also the only way for me to get a 2" - 2 1/2" thick ribeye at my local grocery. Plus, the bone makes a good handle and, well, its cool. Honestly, the last one I did was 3 lbs (high choice grade) and it was on sale. It ended up being a little cheaper than the same weight of boneless ribeye.Last edited by 58limited; July 3, 2020, 02:11 PM.

Every time I see one of these at Sam's Club I want to get it, but somehow I continue to resist... the issue mostly being that the wife likes her steak medium well, and I like mine medium rare, and it would be hard to do one of these giant steaks to both tastes. I might get one and cook it when my son and other kids that like it medium-rare are here, and have it for "the boys".
