    Servings Question

    Hello everyone

Have a question. I am typically horrible at judging how much food to prepare. I am always worried that I will not have enough and always end up with way too much and freeze. Which is typically not a problem.

I have 3 really nice tri-tips that I purchased from Porter Road. We are having a couple for dinner. The roasts are just slightly over 2 lbs. With sides is one roast enough for 4 people or should I prepare two roasts?

    Thanks in advance.

One should be enough. Though I’d rather have twice as much food than have anyone not get as much as they’d like. So...I’d cook both, knowing I’d likely not even cut into the second.

The Porter Road tri tips tend to be a bit small. I cook one for me, my wife, and 3 young children. For 4 adults in would cook two of them. A bit of leftover meat is never a bad thing.

You all are great. Thank you! Looks like two it is. I do agree the Porter Road tri tips are a bit small but very good.
