Hot and fast carne asada with the vortex

Making some Carna asada for work lunch tomorrow. Marinated 24 hours. Being the flank steak needs hot and fast figures would be a good job for the vortex, this also helps keeping the thin end away from the direct heat. Everything worked like a charm even tho the pics shows looked on the thin side one guy wont eat it if it is red. First time cooking came out great would add a couple more peppers to the mix tho Click image for larger version

The first picture looks perfect, an amazing result !! The second picture looks kind of bizarre, the light caught it funny like it's frozen. Anyway, great job, did you eventually do tacos???

          1/2 tsp Kosher salt

          1/2 tsp cumin
          2 limes, juiced

Interesting. My wife (and now I) use olive oil, a lot of garlic, parsley, lime juice, salt, and pepper. That’s it.

By the way this is a thing here too. Grilled plantains Click image for larger version

I love my Vortex for hot and fast chicken pieces. It is awesome for wings. And it will put a killer sear on a steak!
