    "Peach" butcher paper

    Hi to all!
A question about butcher paper. I have ready access to white butcher paper, but many posts/recipes call for peach butcher paper. Is there any difference? Will it affect my brisket cooks? If so, in what way. Thanks for all the help!

You'll never get that peachy flavor without it.

White paper contains a poly liner, that helps to prevent freezer burn. This is used for freezing and refrigeration. Do not use it for cooking.

      Stick with the peach paper.

Actually I have white butcher paper that does NOT have a poly liner.

I don't doubt that some are made with out the liner, but most white butcher paper does have a liner. Let the OP know where you bought it, he maybe interested. PappyBBQ

You can find the untreated white paper, but all of the pink/peach paper is untreated.

OmegaDog12 Correct! As long as it's untreated (uncoated), color makes no difference!
