    My main takeaway here is that you can actually get too hot. The forge is clearly too hot. The sweet spot seems to be about where you can get charcoal.

    I made an air blown charcoal rig around the bbq dragon and yep too hot for this but works great with a wok. :-) Click image for larger version

      Personally, just personally, I couldn’t get past pulling the steaks out of a bag & looking gross. It just doesn’t seem like cookin. I know it is, but the visual just does not work for me. No meat in a baggie for me.

        Different strokes, different folks. Wife doesn't like breaking down chicken, cooked or raw. But as with anything, try it, then knock it.

      That was great, Bones. Thanks for sharing.

      Just as an aside, I liked the chef's knife, probably Kenji's, an old Sabatier high carbon steel. Also noted that Kenji held it like a trained chef (choking up like on a baseball bat) while cutting, while Adam held it another way.
