The Prime Brisket was $3.19 a lb in St Louis. I dry brined last night and mixed up a batch of BBBR and put on the Mak at 225 degrees.

That and what I think was a price of $2.79 for prime!

Those short ribs look great, I don't think my local Costco sells them unfortunately. Would love to see some pictures of the finished product!

Never seen them in our SF Bay Area either. Sometimes i have seen these thin sliced ones, maybe 3/4 of an inch wide but I wasn't sure what to do with them. would love to see some of these.

Good catch on the price! The sign showed $3.29 and I didn't notice. I bought everything they had regardless. 4th time. Using and they range in price from $2.79 to 3.99 lb.

My favorite! Looking good. Hard to find whole beef ribs that haven't had the meat cut off of them.

I'm sorry Spinaker I'm cooking them tonight! I have a very busy weekend, 7 Briskets and 3 butts serving tomorrow at noon. I'm cooking 3 more butts to serve at 6 pm. Tomorrow night I'm cooking 10 butts. Over committed. I haven't decided if my BBQ is good or the price is right. I donate and cook for lots of fundraisers and charity. Typical setbacks. I cleaned both Mak's and put 4 butts on the 2 Star at 5 pm. I went to my kids volleyball games and came back around 8:30 to an error on the Mak. When cleaning, I accidentally pulled the pit probe cable out of controller. Controller was confused and shutdown. Through out 4 butts to be safe.
