Well hadn't planned on steak burgers but found chuck steaks on sale today so decided to roll with the flow. Having been raised on a farm and butchering our own beef growing up, as an adult (51) I've never ground my own hamburger.....go figure??? So today was the day. Bought 5 lb of chuck steak and used my kitchen ninja to get the consistency I wanted.
Got the Weber 26 going with the SnS and a chunk of cherry, threw them on and cooked at 225 until 125 then seared them off threw some cheese on and now waiting on the kids to get home.
I didn't put any seasoning on this time, just wanted to see how they turned out just plain.
