    but what the heck, it IS Super Bowl Sunday, so I threw on a couple of BB ribs, too

    Using my WSM with whiskey oak barrel wood for the chuckies,and my 26" Weber kettle with the SnS for the ribs, with cherry chunks.

          And, although we are avoiding carbs, we got potato rolls for tonight. Also some bread and butter pickles. Made MH's whiskey BBQ sauce from the tested recipe section. My go to sauce.

        Chuckies are resting, wrapped in the WSM with all the vents closed @199*F, the ribs are in and GUUUUD!

          So, you cooked the chuck roasts to 200-ish? How long did they take, total? Looks great! How are you serving?

              Chuckies went on @ 9:40 this morning and I'll check them @ 6:40 to see if they are ready to be pulled. I wrapped them @ 2:40 early in the stall, and shut the WSM vents down @ 4:40. Using the WSM as the faux cambro.

              Tonight only, on a potato roll, with MH's whiskey sauce and likely put a couple bread and butter pickles on.

              After tonight, just warmed up, with the sauce and maybe cole slaw.

                GirlpoweredBBQ , MH's Big Bad Beef Rub on the chuckies and my own on the ribs, which tastes VERY much like MH's last meal rib rub.
