                  The local grocery store carries corned flats and occasionally there is a point mixed in. I've been looking for a point for a good while. I may just settle for a flat now...

                Looks delicious. Real question - did you rinse it first and was it salty if you didn't? Asking because of a mistake I made with corned beef in the past.

                    Nice work! Looks great. I have made many a 'strami from my local Sams Club corned beef. Focus on rub and smoke and it is all good. I am going to try my corn my own this year. Will also post results.
