Thanks Huskee. I was quite impressed by the smoke. Some things I worried about that were missing from the Maverick didnt really bother me. The probes are clearly superior and it was really responsive to temp changes and the receiver updated quickly.

W.A. I agree it is very nice. But the question remains, is it worth the 80% price upgrade over the now $55 Maverick ... that's something that might not have the same answer for everyone.

Huskee, only time will tell. However, I have serious MCS and had to try it out rather than another Mav.
