    Meathead's Gravy Recipe: Pressure Cooker?

    I plan on making Meathead's prime rib gravy recipe tonight. I like keeping the bones on the prime rib so I'm going to use some beef short ribs instead. After reading the recipe I realized it makes a very flavourful beef stock. I make my own beef stock quite regularly however I usually use my pressure cooker. Has anyone tried making Meathead's gravy with a pressure cooker?

    Not that it matters much but I decided to just use a large pot. It's starting to get a little cold at night here and I thought a slow simmering stock would make the house smell great. Was I ever right!

      I love good food smells in the house. I was holding some ribs yesterday in the kettle that were being picked up and a storm arrived so I moved them inside to a 170 degree oven. The house had a little rib aroma and it was very good.
