I agree with what Paulie Brisket said about Walmart in a reply above. Walmarts around here (Orlando) almost always have packers, and most of the time they seem to be a mix of choice and select. The "normal" price seems to be $2.96/lb., but on three occasions over the last year and a half, I've found a Choice packer a day or two before the sell by date. They appear to mark them down at that point. I assume this happens fairly frequently as I don't wander through Walmart very often. Last month I got the 16 pounder pictured for $2.07/lb. Costco around here does not carry Prime and their Choice is over $4.00 per pound, so Walmart, Sam's Club and Restaurant Depot are the only places that I've found that do not get premium prices.
