-have been messing with white sauce. Set on my mustard base, vinegar, tomato. Did a white from Google recipe, and Malcom Reed one. AR one is on the list too. I did not see white sauce in your assortment.
Blues Hog Original tip! Strain it. Get's the gotcha feel out of the back of your throat. Really -- this is worth the extra work! Got a strained quart ready to go cook a contest for tomorrow!
Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
As far as I’m concerned the Big Bob Gibson’s bbq sauce was a waste of money unless you like bbq sauce that tastes like ketchup. The Blue Hog original bbq sauce was pretty dang good but their Tennessee red sauce was excellent.
I stopped by Big Bob Gibson's last summer on the way back from Florida. I wasn't impressed by any of the sauces, but the meat was all good. I'm sure the white sauce is an acquired taste, but I really didn't like it at all, even though I wanted to. Luckily, I'm not a big sauce guy anyway.
I use Blues Hog Tennessee Red as a dipping sauce for pulled pork. VERY GOOD!! You need to try Blues Hog Smokey Mountain BBQ sauce. It's a great tasting sauce!
