Some barbecue sauces I recently tried.

I received some BBQ sauces as part of a great gift package. I thought I would share my observations with you all.
    Sauce #1:
Arthur Bryant's Original bbq sauce. Bleah! Hated this one. I don't know if I got a bad bottle, but it tasted like tomato paste with a lot of mustard and pepper added. Consistency was also like barely diluted tomato paste. I poured this one down the drain.
    Sauce #2:
Cowtown BBQ Sauce. Loved this one! Very nice tomato molasses flavor, just enough heat, and a little pepper kick at the end. This one has a bit of tamarind in it, and I think that really makes this sauce excellent. Equally good on beef and pork.

    Sauce #3:
Gates Kansas City's Own BBQ sauce. My second favorite. Typical KC BBQ sauce flavor. A bit peppery on the end for
my taste, but excellent sauce. Better with pork than beef, IMHO.

Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoyed my reviews. 😎

Not really a big sauce fan on any type of meat or food in general but the cowtown sounds interesting.
