Kale yeah! If cooking greens I'll stick to mustard greens with ham hocks and crushed red pepper. Never care for that fancy stuff.

          Me too! I like kale.

I’m glad the post was a joke about throwing out kale....because I clicked the link to make a joke to that effect! Kale and salmon are two foods I’ve tried - literally - more than a dozen ways, and I’ve never liked a single one.

Sacrilege on salmon, never had a bad piece unless it was over cooked.

Oh, I think you misunderstood - I was thinking of how easy it might slip into the garbage disposal.

I’ve had Brussels once that didn’t make me gag. Most of the time...use that coconut oil to slide’em into the trash!

        #7
I actually find two things disagreeable to the 'tip'. First, why would you want to waste good coconut oil? Second, who would want to subject their trash can to that?

I’m being serious. This is one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten.

Hahahahaha, very true! I love cruciferous greens. Sprouts, broccoli, spinach etc. but I can not stand Kale. Ive tried and tried. It always ends up in the compost pile!

Another kale salad that will convert you guys. You don't want to skip the step where you massage the kale as directed. If you prepare this as directed most of you who think you dont like kale will like it.

Yes, anchovies. Just dont tell her. Or use fish sauce if she is okay with that. Either way it needs that funky kick.

I use kale in my Italian Wedding Soup (which recipe I found because I had a bunch of kale to use...) De-lish!

Do any of you guys who dont like kale like collards? It's the only other vegetable that rivals kale in nutrients.

Collards in the pressure cooker with chicken broth, a ham hock, crushed red pepper flakes and a half a capful of Zatarain's shrimp and crab boil. Tasty.
