    A Full Grill

Well I gave the Char-Broil Tru Infrared a full grate and then some tonight.

I stopped by the Odon Meat Locker (my local favorite place to purchase meats) on Saturday and purchased some Marinated Turkey and some shush kabobs, pork burgers, etc... I also hit the farmers market for some corn and watermelon with plans to have a great week grilling for dinner. Unfortunately my wife’s grandmother took a turn for the worse Saturday so things got delayed. She passed this afternoon. My wife lost brother her grandmas in a month and a half. Anyway while my wife was with her mother tonight getting pictures etc I went ahead and just cooked everything so we would have it as needed this week.

    1. Grilled Corn brushed with melted butter and a salt mix we like as well as some Mrs Dash and then sprinkled with some chili powder.

    2. Marinated Turkey strips

    3. Kabobs

    4. Pork burgers dusted with some Blues Hog Rub and glazed with some Blues Hog Smokey Mountain Sauce.

    5. Pasta Salad... I’m working on a base pasta salad that I can adapt to my preference. Multi color rotini, green pepper, red pepper, yellow pepper, purple onion, English cucumber, chickpeas, cherry tomato (only for my wife), and some Italian dressing.

6 And I had to have something to drink while cooking. Damn Blonde from Salt Creek Brewery in Bedford, IN. Incidentally they make some of the best Root Beer and Old Fashion Grape Soda as well!

All of this while jamming out to some Blues BBQ Radio on Pandora.

I'm more of a BB King Bluesville guy on SiriusXM but I like you vibe. Great looking condolence meal, love the pasta salad. Sorry for your wife's loss.

Condolences on your loss. Great looking food. If you get a minute, let us know when you perfect the pasta salad recipe - I been looking for a good one for years, haven't been able to come up with my own.

Thanks this was my first shot at it. I’ve got a big bowl to eat to decide what to do next lol... it was ok and edible but nothing I’m ready to write home about. I think I need to try a few different dressings before I start changing to much other things.

Last time I made one, I had everything you had except the cukes, chickpeas and tomato, and I added a little mozzarella cheese, some salami, some zucchini and some store bought Italian dressing. It was OK, but it was missing something.
