Jambalaya on the Weber Kettle and first try at Hush Puppies

Decided to fix my jambalaya recipe tonight and put it on the kettle for a while to get some smokey flavor...Started it on the stove and put it on the kettle for about an hour and a half then returned to stove to finish cooking the rice...next time I think I will cook longer on the stove to get the rice closer to done before putting on the grill... It did get a good Smoke flavor but I used a little too much cayenne - little more heat than I wanted...

Also, my first attempt at hush puppies....they came out good but needs a little tweaking...

All right! I'm doing some New Orleans cooking myself this week, red beans and rice.
