SO I already am making home made pretzel hotdog buns, beer cheese, beer bratwursts. I want to maybe do meatballs or something fun deep fried. Roasted vegetable napoltean on the traeger site. It needs to be small fun bite sized, cooked, grilled, battered and deep fried.

I have two suggestions:
Pulled beef, (or pork), chimichangas. Easy to do and always a hit. Just wrap meat in a tortilla and deep fry. You may have to use a toothpick to hold them together. Add cheese and salsa if you'd like and you can cut them in half before frying to have more individual pieces.
Onion rings. Here is the recipe for my all time favorite onion straws, (slice the rings if half to make straws and you can fry more at a time.) http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/o...-oh-yeah-baby/Last edited by RonB; June 28, 2016, 07:25 PM.

deep fried chimichangas sound great! I already have too muchpulled pork left over. Sounds like good use for it.Last edited by frijolefrito; June 28, 2016, 09:12 PM.

For the 4th of July... I'm having a "Make your own Pizza party".
I'm going to make sourdough Neapolitan pizza dough the day before using the delayed fermentation process by leaving it in the fridge overnight. I'll make small individual sized pizza... 12".
I'm going to buy 4 different meats. 4 different cheeses. Lots of veggies and I'll make a nice pizza sauce. I'm going to setup a big serving table with all the ingredients in individual bowls. I'll shape and stretch the dough into rounds, paint on the sauce and let each person dress the pizza with their favorite ingredients.
I'm going to have the BGE running at 750° and they will cook in about 4 minutes.
The kids love making their own pizza's...😆
Plus I'll make a big bunch of chicken wings on the 26" Weber kettle using 2 grates... The Hovergrill is good for wings.😆Last edited by Breadhead; June 28, 2016, 10:18 PM.

I agree I think this is a winner. I'm always asking for stuff so here is a recipe I found for an awesome appetizer. http://thesexyknitter.blogspot.com/2...-biscuits.html I usually double the sweet stuff in the butter but following the recipe won't hurt you. They are jalapeno cheese filled bread balls with a peach apricot butter.

Reading through this post gave me another idea. Everyone likes donuts, and they are fried. Everyone likes sausage, and sausage balls can't be far behind. How about deep frying sausage balls instead of baking them? Oh man - I have my own mouth watering at the thought. Here's the basic recipe:
1 lb hot sausage (I have used Jimmy Dean in the past, but next time I will use home made.)
2 cups Bisquick
12 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix by hand until ingredients are well mixed and all the Bisquick is moistened. Shape into walnut sized balls, place on a baking sheet and bake at 400* for 12 - 15 min. I get about 80 from this recipe. If frying, I'd lower the temp to 350*-375* so that they don't get too brown.
