I thought I saw a thread somewhere that talked about using beef fat (melted?) to add some killer taste to the meal. I thought it was called "Baby Love", but can't locate the recipe. Please advise and redirect post as needed.

Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Medusa- next time you trim steaks or brisket or chucks (you get the idea) put all the fat trimmings in a covered skillet on low for 30-45min to build up a nice puddle of fat. Strain out the crispy solids and pour the liquid into an ice cube tray. I put mine in the freezer in a ziploc. Then you'll have single-serving beef love cubes as the need arises.
