Ed, I have been trying to upload 8-Tracks here for a couple of years with no luck. The darn ribbon keeps getting stuck in the USB port. On the bright, side I found that Barry Manilow can only be listened to low an slow. Tina Turner - hot and fast, only!

Update: it is possible that you have and MP3 or and M4A (note A not U) file, but the extension is set to M4U.

I would have to a sample. Send me a PM if you want me to look into it further.

So - the marketing VP asks the IT Mgr if their social presence can be increased with manual tagging. The IT fella says - "Ha, my teenage daughter would know that!"

M4U files are not actually audio files. They are playlist files. So uploading them will not upload the associated audio files.

It is possible that each of your ",m4u" files only contains a single entry to a single MP3. So it *seems* like they are the real audio files.

If you open them with a text editor (notepad) then you should see the location of the actual audio file.

Would it be possible to enable uploads in this format? I have 10000+ tracks of music in flac that I would like to share on the music thread (not all at once, of course), but flac is too big. My player allows conversion to m4u, which should be more compact.
