Howdy all, I'm Oskaar from Anaheim, CA in scenic Orange County, So Cal! I'm Running a Texas smoker and a half configured as below: 1.5 55 gal thick oil
I had no issues. I resized the photo to 800 on the long edge, made sure it was under 100 KB in my photo editor (Fireworks) and posted it up with no issues whatsoever.
Cheers,
Oskaar
Oskaar you no longer need to resize the photos (pixels or KB). This issue was fixed. I made this more clear in the original post. Thanks for pointing that out.

Winky, try clearing your browser's cache, just in case it's something along those. Sounds a little too simple but many times things like that can be resolved by doing so.
Next, link a post or two specifically that you're having trouble with.
We have found the BEST way to post pictures is not to upload using the camera icon (upper left), but the attachment icon, on the upper-right on the comment box, next to the "A". The camera icon places thumbnails of pictures which need to be clicked and then open in the gallery. Doing this via the attachment icon places a large picture right in with your text, no gallery popup needed. If everyone did this there'd be no issues with galleries, right? Check this "PLEASE READ" post out for more detail on proper picture uploading.

The only thing coming up for me are thumbnails whether I use the camera icon or the attachment icon.
Seems like your source file is just tiny then. I'm assuming when you upload as attachment, you select "full size" when placing it? Were the pictures mistakenly snapped in low res. mode?
A-ron, the media stuff has been acting wonky for a few days. Its kind of an on again off again thing. I tried this on two different OS machines and a PC just to be sure it was not on my side. I figured it was just my account so I started using photobucket for my stuff.
Jon we're aware of some of the wonkiness. We've got a LOT of site traffic nowadays and it's taxing the server. We're moving over to a new server at some point and this should help immensely.
