Great idea. You can also use the "Today's Posts" link and scroll the titles on each page. Members typically post a notice if something is on sale or there's a discount of some type.

I know various venders have codes available for discounts & such. It would be nice to have a thread in the pit dedicated to helping members save a buck or two.
I think I used "FRIENDS15" or something like that for when I ordered my GrillGrates, got that one off a thread on BBQ Brethren. I'm betting the collective knowledge base on here is aware of deals on things others might be looking to pull the trigger on.
