You'd need to raise that suggestion to vBulletin. We just install updates as they come in and are worth upgrading to

It'd be great to eventually see vBulletin be able to send Quote notifications, similar to mentions and comment notifications. When a user quotes someone, using the quote button, the OP gets a notification they've been quoted.

How do you quote somebody??
