Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Interesting.
Not sure why one would want to raise & lower the burners on a gasser as it’s easy enough to simply turn a knob. O_o Clearly I’m missing something.

There's still a difference in high heat far away vs. low heat close. So the adjustable burner height isn't null and void since it's gas, you'll still get more control than with a charcoal fire.
Lol tbob4 I am not saying it's better or replaces charcoal, or wood for that matter. To be clear, I am saying with a gasser's knob burner adjustment *and* an adjustable burner height you have more options when/if you'd need them.
Nope Huskee. She is accepting no apologies. I told her about the adjustable gas grill and she just said "go ahead. If you find her more appealing you can have her. I will tell you what though, it will cost you!" I kept saying "be mad at Huskee. Can we talk?" She just refuses to converse any longer.
