Englebrecht Braten Gen IV 1000 on order
Was looking at the Braten and was wondering if you have any more feedback for low and slow smoking...fire starting, temp maintenance, etc - THANKS!
I have actually had a bit of trouble with temperature control for low and slow. I did wrap some seal tape around the whole grill box seam, and used the side box. It has worked pretty well.
I usually use it as an indirect/direct grill. The temp is easy to control for that with the raised grill surface.
For fire starting - I use a chimney of charcoal and then use that with logs to start them. Easy way to get the fire going.
