Thoughts on the Everdure Hub by Heston Blumenthal?

Does anyone else shudder when people refer to "a barbecue" as a noun, referring to the grill/smoker? I hate that.
And I think Weber had the push button gas charcoal igniter longer. Maybe not in England.

What got me was the sound of how thin n flimsy that sheetmetal sounded when dumping the bag of charcoal on. A charcoal chimney would be a lot more reliable than a push button ignitor oafter 2 years use.

Well, hmmm. If I want to pile all the charcoal on the grate and push a button to start it, and leave the lid off, I can already do that on my Weber Performer Deluxe. For a heck of a lot less money!

There's one 1* review on WS of the Everdure Hub by Heston Blumenthal.
There is a cover they sell for another additional $60.
On the plus side, it has a pretty cool rotisserie... But I think not. not for $2K.
You could get a Good One Open Range for that, and rig a rotisserie for it.

It's pretty but I don't think it would look that nice after a year outdoors. I never heard of these. Open face no cover so low and slow is out.
