If anyone is looking for Cajun Cookbooks I’ve got a few I can highly recommend. The first is by Justin Wilson and is called "Homegrown Louisiana Cooking" It’s a very good book for beginners as well as someone just wanting to expand their recipes of Cajun Cuisine. I’ve tried many of his recipes in the book and can attest to the quality of them.
The second one is from the Master and probably most famous Cajun and Creole Chef there is, Paul Prudhomme. If you’re interested at all in trying to master your skills in cooking Cajun food, this is a must have book. It’s "Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Louisiana Kitchen". Highly recommended.
The third one is called “Who’s Your Mama, Are You Catholic, and Can You Make A Roux? This is a collection of family member’s recipes from Marcelle Bienvenu. I bought this in Lafayette, Louisiana back in the 90’s. Not sure if it’s still being printed, but you could Google the title.
