    Pork Belly Burnt Ends

My go-to review, how to make Pork Belly Burnt Ends. Short sweet and to the point, it ends in enjoyment.

That's my next thing to try. I have the belly in the freezer now. I'm going to serve them with cheese, jalapeño grits to balance out some of the sweetness. I watched Malcolm Reed do bacon burnt ends on u tube, but none of the stores here sell slab bacon. Malcolm used Wrights he got at Sams. I've checked all of them in my area, none carry it.

They just don't carry the unsliced, slab bacon. The stuff has turned out to be harder to find than I thought it would be. My location doesn't help. We're an hour and a half from the nearest sams. When I say rural I mean the FM radio in my shop, with an antenna, will pick up one station!

There’s a simple solution to this problem...cure your own bacon for burnt ends! I’ve done this once. Honestly I didn’t really notice a difference from regular pork belly burnt ends, there’s already so many flavors going on there.

Not sure if anybody else caught this but at the end the little girl looks like she if flipping the camera the bird as she licks the sauce off her fingers.

      LOL

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Comprehensive Temperature Magnet With 80+ Important Temps

    Amazingribs.com temperature magnet
Winner of the National BBQ Association’s product of the year award. This 8.5″ x 11″ magnet contains more that 80 benchmark temperatures for meats (both USDA recommended temps as well as the temps chefs recommend), fats and oils, sugars, sous vide, eggs, collagens, wood combustion, breads, and more. Although it is not certified as all-weather, we have tested it outdoors in Chicago weather and it has not delaminated in three years, but there is minor fading.

    Our Favorite Backyard Smoker

The amazing Karubecue is the most innovative smoker in the world. The quality of meat from this machine is astonishing. At its crux is a patented firebox that burns logs above the cooking chamber and sucks heat and extremely clean blue smoke into the thermostat controlled oven. It is our favorite smoker, period.

Masterbuilt MPS 340/G ThermoTemp XL Propane Smoker

This is the first propane smoker with a thermostat, making this baby foolproof. Set ThermoTemp’s dial from 175° to 350°F and the thermostat inside will adjust the burner just like an indoor kitchen oven. All you need to do is add wood to the tray above the burner to start smokin’.

Grilla Pellet Smoker proves good things come in small packages

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5″ x 29.5″ footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.
