I'm not a coffee drinker so my opinion means nothing, but my wife says she far prefers McDonalds coffee over TH

Tim Horton's was the second best thing about Canada. The best was poutine. Third was seeing a goose but I survived because it did not attack.

I saw a timely article on the another web site today on how to make your own sweetened condensed milk, it is made from skim milk powder, butter, sugar and hot water mixed in a blender, sounds pretty easy. As it is in life if a recipe has four ingredients we will have two or maybe three on hand.

I always put ice in my coffee if it is hot coffee. I usually rink homemade cold press, so I really never have to worry about. I hate how hot most coffee is. I wanna drink it! Not sip and burn my mouth!

Vietnamese iced coffee (cà phê đá) is basically what you are making, it is a hugely popular drink.

No we make hot coffee for this, if we plan we make it and let it cool off, today we made it using hot coffee from Areopress.

Are you making cold brew for this? I like the thought of condensed milk for a bit of sweetness. I made come cold brew a few weeks back and have a small glass every few days. I’ll have to give this a try and see if it’s just the sweetness I was looking for.

    thanks again!

    started a topic Iced coffee

    Iced coffee

Iced coffee is just cold coffee but we have grown fond of Tim Hortons iced coffee with cream which is a little sweet. We now make our own and we use sweetened condensed milk and it is very similar to what we get a Tim Hortons. We start with a cup of cold coffee, we add about a tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk, stir well then add water and ice. We have found that hot/warm coffee helps the sweetened condensed milk disperse better. Our Areopress coffee maker works well for this as it makes a condensed shot of coffee.
