Save Space Under Your Sinks - Great Tip Here

Took me 5 minutes just to think of a title for this stupid thing. Several years ago I ran across a great idea to help create space under my kitchen and bathroom sinks. Under my kitchen sink, the cabinet was always jam packed with all kinds of spray bottle cleaners along with all the other stuff you use in the kitchen. It could be a chore just to find the right spray bottle for this and that amid all the other stuff. Then I ran across this space saver. A small adjustable tension rod to put between the inner cabinet walls, up near the top. Kind of like a small shower curtain rod. You then hang your spray bottles on the tension rod by the spray lever on the bottle. It cleared out almost half my clutter just by hanging them up above the cabinet floor on this rod. Of course you could do this in any cabinet you have a lot of spray bottles in. They sell these mini tension rods at HD, Lowe’s etc. and also Amazon. Anyway, some of you might already do this, but I just wanted to share it with y’all.

Neat and orderly under the sinks, Is that not a sign of a sick mind?

You might not believe this, but I’m a neat freak. I make my bed every single day, and you could eat off my floors. (I do that sometimes, just to prove it to the neighbors) 😂 I clean the kitchen as I go along cooking and immediately after I’m done eating. When I first saw this somewhere else, I went out and bought me some rods the next day. I really should seek professional help.

Little tight to be taking a shower in there don't you think?

I'll go you one further. We had our former Insinkerator spring a leak and flooded the floor of the cabinet. It was just masonite and it blew up like a wet sponge. I tore it out with the idea of replacing it and realized I had about 4" of additional depth to the space so I left it uncovered. Doesn't sound like much but I'm able to stack more crap in there (on further thought maybe that's a bad thing). Anyway I figure if there are future leaks it's to my concrete floor below so who cares.

It was my own idea. What happened was....Elon Musk called me the other day, wanting some help for his engineering team. They were stumped as to what composition materials to use for the next Space X Rocket, 2nd stage booster panels. After knowing the amount of friction and tremendous heat involved, I said Elon, your best bet is plywood. Then it hit me, I could also use miniature shower rods for my space saving cabinet idea!

Panhead John Forget the plywood. You'd be better off sourcing titanium. Plywood is $42 a sheet at HD. You'd better call Elon quickly, I think I saw him heading for Joe Rogan's place to do a show !
