I haven’t burdened y’all with my personal struggles. There are far worse things out there in this big ole world.
BF lost his job back in April. I lost mine at the end of October. We’ve been getting by. Well y’all, today BF received an offer! And at about 40% raise over his last job. I connected with an old client and he wants me to run his business for a salary and equity stake. I’m still kind of numb.

I cook on a 15-year-old Kamado #9, a huge beast nearly 6 feet tall and with black ceramic tile on the outside. I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds. Just added an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.

Happy to hear this. Hope you move forward. So many struggling. Things are looking up with the vaccine and reduced infections. I feel for small business. It sort of hits close as my S.I.L. is owner of one bar and has a managing investment in another in Amherst MA, a collage town. Both shutdown since last March. One most likely will never reopen and the other maybe in April if the town allows it. Three kids 12, 9 and 3. Bills don't go away. His parents as well as us are financially secure. So, when it gets tough they have an outlet.

That's really great news. Congrats to both of you. I've been out of work since March. I'm doing fine since I had some things in the pipeline when the shut down hit (still do) but my end of my industry is still shut down indefinitely, so it's good to hear some folks are getting back on their feet.
